It's good to be in Iowa

Today we went to one of my favorite places to eat it was amazing just like I remembered...

I'm in Iowa?

Well we're in Iowa it crazy to be back...i can't believe we're here...so far my mom lost her luggage then found it it was nice...we visited some relatives which I'm fixing to show you some pic's of that...

But first pic's of the flight which looks alot like some pic's i've always posted but i don't care..

So we got off the place and headed to my Aunt Nancy's house where all of my Dad's sisters my aunts live, all of the cousincs were there that are in the country...haha
Where they all gathered round and looked at Wedding picture slideshow that my mom made...it was fun...

Night of Fun!

It's hard to talk about tonight...cause there just to many things to tell and not enough pic's from the night to elaberate on!

Why Do take so many pic's?

Well I don't have much to tell until I get off this tour and I can get back to life with the internet on a normal basis, cause I have to many things to post to many stories most I'll keep to myself just b/c if you don't have anything positive to say then don't say it right?

This makes me laugh! we went to Chili's for lunch on one of the show days, and we fit everybody in one car...haha


And besides the same old same old with the churches and the tour, lack of hands no room on the stages I can't actually show the rooms we've been cause it would just scare you! I can't wait for this tour to be over with haha...One more show after tonight I love the crew but we're just tired.


I don't have any story or anything creative to say about this pic just wanted to posted.

Sweet Home!

YAY for the love I'm home for the first time in weeks, holy cow it feels good i don't want to leave again for a long time or at least until tomarrow night. "Sigh"

I have so much to talk about it's crazy I didn't know what thing to blog about first. So I'm going to blog about whats most important Dinner tonight!

It started with an idea from my wifes beutiful head, followed by putting it into action...

Fajita's!

Patti started with shredding up some real chease which makes a big difference by the way.


I started to season the chicken and warm up the old grill....haha so stupid


Patti started doing whatever you do to vegies


While Jay ate a piece of the block of chease that Patti shredded

cheers eh? Holy cow that a big glass (you didn't hear this from me but she had 4 glass' shhh)

Catering

So i thought that today i would do a blog on Catering, I don't have pic's from every Catering on the tour some are just so bad that I forget to even take a pic of it! Bless their hearts all the people that have fixed us food. But I'm still going to show you the different types of lunches and Dinners we get starting with this

There's your typical flat meat sandwich, the surprise soup that if you want meat in it you can add pepperoni the Ice-cream cake, only b/c it was Redwines B-day and a side of carrots with ranch dip


Next we have a bowl of pickles!...and some cake.


Farsworth eating this Fabulous dinner (hehe Fabulous) of Pork Chops I think and some green beans and corn.


Some of the guys don't need catering...


But when Adam does it something else. it usually looks like this I'm not sure where the beef was on that day.


There it is....Hot dogs with some sort of Crap on top.


You can't really tell what we're eating in this pic cause our table is full of people just eating everything possible.
But I will point out that if you look closely at the pic you'll see Adam's face of distaste as he has just eatin' something that I'm pretty sure tasted like the unsanitary discolored liquid poop people call "tea" according to the look on his face. (I don't like Tea) and Travis eating like he hasn't seen food in a week which when you only weigh 93 pounds I would get hungry too when I haven't had good food in a while.


You've seen this one but it's worth showing you again just what eat.


Next we have chicken salad with a side of broccoli


And if you haven't noticed by now that the theme of lunch has been sandwiches, pre-made for some. and some of the guys can't and don't like condiments (hahah) on their stuff for i.e. mayo. so they have been eating this PB&J Bless their hearts...servants the all of em'

Day To Day...

So I just want to walk some of you thru my day to day...and the reasons why I havn't had the internet and the days we do I don't have time to blog anything which I'm begining to miss something theroputic about sharing your heart for everybody to see and and have a pic to explain it in greater detail.

The events happened between 12pm & 12am

I woke up late in the morning for the second time on the tour do to a church service at the church we're playing at already in progress. (11:18) put my shoes on grab my camera bag and step off the dark bus to find a gentlemen standing in front of the door all chipper having been up since ealry in the morning and me being up for 30 seconds, he eagerly directs me to the small room that we were eating lunch in. Squinting the whole time not really looking up just following the feet in front of me into a building filled with people looking nice all dressed up and my with my hair messed up and I'm wearing shorts and a Tshirt.

Walking down the hall I start to approach a door that is open I then realize that I'm in the right place hearing some of the guys on the crew laughing. (Redwine)



That's Redwine his laugh can heard across 3 States when he's sobber!...haha just Joking (sortof)

I Begin to eat the meal that's provided for us, (I don't have much to say about that cause each day there's a different situation with that and honestly I think I'm going to do a whole blog on just the meals of tours especially B level tours)




We start looking at the room that we're setting up in and the stage we're going to try and put all our crap on!...



We have a meeting on what stuff we can cut to fit the rig in the room and have a decent "Safe" Show!



Most of the lighting is off the truck and we're starting to place the Downstage stuff



I pace some more on how we're getting the Up Stage truss in a choir loft!

After moving on for a moment to other stuff, I came back to the Up stage this time with Travis to help



(1:08) Chris and Brooks talking about Brooks giving a speach about safety and then Falling off the stage (hahahahah Sorry Brooks but that was pretty stinking funny)



After several ideas and alot of holy crap what are we going to do? we finally settled on a solution

When teh day starts to get closer to show time the choir from Korea show up and we talk and sometimes hopefully laugh about the size of the stages and stuff that I don't understand when their talking to each other in Korean, I laugh with them I don't know why I don't have a clue what their saying! haha


After Several hours of sound checks and setting up and just rambling thru all the stupid stuff we went thru and the stuff we need to be aware of for the show, we go to dinner where we still have fun, but yet it's work!


Then we head in and wait for the show to start take a moment to well I'm not sure what we do right befor the show besides talk about the love life of travis and then when the show starts we all text each other stupid things
