Somebody Motivate me Please!

I use to be so excited to blog and look for things to blog about, and here recently I've got myself in to a routine of being lazy. Its amazing I get home and I just don't want to do anything but hang out with my wife and sit around the house.

I have really good friends that want to hang out and I'm just out of energy, I turn my phone off or whatever the excuse, to them I'm sorry for being a quagmire of a friend. (not the family guy quagmire either)

When I go out on the road I set up, I hang out, I take a nap like everyday, I'm just exhausted all the time, the end result is that I've been slacking on the blog part, and taking pic's of the tour and life, I use to take twice as many pic's as I take now. What is wrong with me? I just don't know.

I think I'm ready for Christmas, Yup thats right folks a little holiday spirit, stop living out of this

For those of you who don't know what I do this is what I stare at intensly looking for any mistakes, any single broken pieces, any undone shaders, any flaw that would make me look like an idiot haha...
Most of all I just want to spend time with at home with the wife, I mean who doesn't right?
But instead for now I'll lay here in my hotel room bed and blog.

Crazy Venue..

So I was told this week that I don't show enough show stuff, well I'm still not going to show any show pic's, for the moment due to the fact that I'm not available to take any show pic's, but I will show you a pic of todays crappy load in.

well the load in wasn't as bad as the rigging that was just slow!!

Here's a pic of what time it was when they were starting audio's stage right


Yup that's right its almost lunch time..The audio guys are looking at the points that they just got stage left, the riggers are fixing to hang their other points, and I don't have any points at all! Here's a better look, and if you look real close you'll see that lighting is up and ready for focusing. CRAZY! The other thing thats crazy is that we had all but 2 of our points were dead hangs. For those of you that understand what that is. 5 and half hours and they finally got everything in the air.




So there you Go...I didn't get my points until about 130pm...I'm not crying about just amazed that it took that long!

Things I miss

Every once in a while I just get to missing things that I've had on a everyday basis, took advantage of it while I had it and now miss it!

A Florida Sunset, whats funny is that while your there or live there you start to take advantage of the fact that this happens every night! its amazing that I didn't spend more time out there!

The other day Patti and I went to down town Nashville, to take pic's and hang out. We had fun, the little walking we did, we basically walked up this "walking bridge" and took a couple pic's, and then we left, haha its funny because we always try and plan stuff to do, and have a full day of just the two of us, and in the end we always get bored with the outing we planned and the days that we just want to be lazy we end up having a blast.

Life is Funny.

"Drooling"

I just have to share with you how good this pie was, (or if you must know I have no really insightful thing to blog about so this is all I got) it was really good I wanted to have 2 pieces but I'm trying to watch my figure.

Do I use the Garden hose?

I want to go ahead and put another shot of where we clean after a hard day, the first thing you see when entering the shower room is this. It doesn't say "Hey you wanna get clean?"

No it says "Hey! you have the option of a bath in a troff that animals eat out of, or the garden hose" that I can't think of anything witty to say about.

But Then you turn the corner and see the actually shower room.
Now if you click on the photo you'll see the grossness of what I'm sure is Lead paint peeling from the ceiling, the mold that covers the floor, the drain that you won't see just for keeping the blog as non gross as possible, but I will tell you that there was a used band aid. I think I just puked a little in my mouth thinking about it, the walls I don't think had ever been cleaned.

Theres just to many things to point out how nasty this shower was, so just take a look for your self, and in my looking of blogs today it looks like Farns has blogged about the same thing so you can see a different angle.

Thats just really Gross!!

I miss my wife!

2 more days until I get home and I'm able to see my wife Holy crap that'll be GREAT!!!

But until I get home to get her some real flowers, here's a half a dozen roses for Patti

Finally a day off!!

So yesterday was finally a day off, and we went to Boulder, CO. It was really cool the downtown area was really cool very artsy very just chill, I have some pic's of the street we were on.

But first I have to show you Lunch since when we woke up it was lunch time and that was the first thing we went looking for, we found a BBQ place that was really good (click on the link) I got me some ribs...mmmmm



Then we continued to walk around till we found a camera store like 15 blocks away haha that was a crazy walk, it seem to take forever to get there, it was worth it tho, it was a nice store.
But we decided to take the bus back tho haha just like that we were back on the main street with all the shops, here's a pic of Denny, Farns and I running across the street trying to catch the bus.

So what do you do when you have 3 camera geeks in a really cool artsy place. you take a lot of pic's of random things, one of the crew guys saw us walking down the street, all of us had our camera's in hand just walking and looking for things to take pic's of, and then all stopping to take a pic of something! Like this basically.

And if you watned to see how my pic turned out? It's so beautiful it reminds me of my wife!



Then it was time for some Mexican food while listening to a jazz band sitting outside looking at the mountains, but instead of showing you pic's of the mexican place and the view that was nice. I'm going to show you the some of the street pic's of the place we spent our day at.

I Wonder what it would be like?

So yesterday we were in Boise for some reason or another I guess it's to do a show haha...any way I like Boise the downtown area is amazing, anyway the point to letting you know where we were is because, when you go to go on the the stage they let you know where you are!

And the Venue had a thing about some weird stuff, its pretty funny.

And then after the shower I head out to the bus and find some college kids up to some harmless fun...and they gave the Ok if you will to let me take a pic of their work!

What a zoo

All the band guys have have their kids out with us, so the promoter thought it would be fun to have a petting zoo in the back halls where i met this little guy i think he was smiling for the camera, I don't know its a little creepy.


You ever have that feeling like the somebody is trying to hint something, but theres no real easy reason? I caught on.

Dinner Plans

Last night i was i awoke from a nap that I shouldn't had taken, i walk out to the bus to eat dinner ( Pic 1 below) only find out that the bus genie wasn't on, so theres goes my dinner idea.
which I was looking forward too!

I decided to go to the closest place there was to the hotel, just so I can eat in my room and just watch tv and relax, so I treated my self to a steak, potato and some veggies, mmmm....so good until I get back to the room and remember that all I have are a plastic silver, SUCK!! haha so after a half hour trying to cut my steak in to pieces i finally got to taste it, haha it was good tho!

Yay for blogging and out door shows?

When you get up in the morning knowing that your going to be doing an out door show, it's always in the back of your mind that it's going to be one of two things, A short easy day? or a day that you both rue and lament everything about it! Well it was neither i guess the day was on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a C-.
