I wasn't sure about this word, I saw it in a book, naturally, and thought that it meant to soak something up, but that's absorb, which I guess they sort of sound alike but, well ok I'm an idiot, their totally different, especially in the spelling, and when I was reading I thought, man that doesn't make any since? But now that I know what it means, that sentence totally makes since now! I don't know how many times I've done that!
